Our night began with Hailey getting dropped off at 6:00 pm, so we had to get right down to business. Grandma came over with Hailey's trick-or-treat bag and a few goodies, we got Hailey in her costume after trying my wings on, and were off to beat the rain. Luckily, it did not rain on us at all. We walked around our neighborhood for a good forty-five minutes and collected lots of loot! There are only a few families with kids in our neighborhood so it's never crazy and there is plenty of candy to go around, in most cases we got double the loot! Hailey did a great job of saying "trick or treat" and "thank you", but her best line of the night was "OPEN" whenever we walked away with candy.
We were all starved by 7:15, just in time for PaPa to get home and take us to Mi Rancho for dinner. We ate with the Larsens and the Sandridges, our old Thursday night crew, which we rarely see anymore because of Rich's class schedule. All in all it was a great Halloween for all!
