Update....MRSA

Carol just called to let us know that Bill has a staph infection, MRSA. He is being quarantined as I type, so Carol is on her way home. They are going to insert some additional drainage tubes in his belly and continue pumping him with antibiotics, but as we know MRSA is resistant to many of the commonly prescribed antibiotics. They are encouraged that his white blood cell count has come down since yesterday though.
