Carol called this morning and said that Bill is not doing well. They are taking him to do x-rays and a CT scan right now. It does not look like he is healing well and he still hasn't been able to drink or eat. The doctor expected him to be much further along at this point and off of the oxygen, so we'll see what the tests reveal. I forgot to mention that when he had the blood transfusion on Friday his temperature went up so they were only able to give him 1/4 of the blood. They tested the blood and everything came out okay, but still decided to discontinue the transfusion....not sure why his temperature spiked.
