Bill was released from UVA yesterday morning. We visited him at home for the first time in two weeks! The tube that they put through his nose must have worked miracles because he turned the corner very quickly after such a rocky start. His digestive tract is up and running and he even went from Jello to a hamburger yesterday!...not so sure I would have tried the burger, but good for him for being courageous:)
His first check up is scheduled for next Monday, the 2nd. Hopefully at that point he'll get to lose one of the catheters. Jo and Randy will be leaving in the next few days to spend some time at home before they head to California to visit their son. They will be back for Thanksgiving and fingers crossed we will all be able to enjoy some good food and company!
