We observe today, October 15th, as Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day by lighting a candle in honor of Ryan Lane who was lost three months ago. Our angel baby will forever be missed and remembered. Our prayers go out to all mothers and fathers who have lost a baby no matter how tiny and young. We have several close friends who have experienced the loss of a child and tonight we honor all of them and pray for their continued strength and healing.
A special thank you is needed for the gift above from my parents. They thoughtfully put together a candle and remembrance card for us to observe this evening. Although it will be used throughout the year, each October it will remind us of this special day.I'm thankful:
- that I have such caring and wonderful parents, even though they don't hear how much they are appreciated nearly enough.
- that we have such supportive and understanding friends and family.
- for the joy that Hailey brings to our lives each week. Happy 2nd Birthday little girl!
