Humpback Rock

Yes, you can call us crazy. We took 32 summer school students on a hike up to Humpback Rock yesterday. I was pretty impressed that all but 4 of them made it to the top and we only had one scraped kneed. It's a good thing I've been hitting the gym because going straight uphill for .7 miles is more strenuous than it looks at first glance.

I forgot my camera so we'll have to go with photos that the other teachers sent me. I want to go back up just to take some pictures of my own!

(The view from the top)

(Umm, yeah...summer school students + heights = heart attack!)

(Trying to keep them from going to high.)

(I don't think adolescents have any fear.)

(Evan came with us to help out with the 6th graders)

(Love the hair! It was about 60 degrees and WINDY!)

(Mr. Strong holding down the other rock.)

(Evan being adventurous as usual.)

(Time to go!)
