3rd Block

Today was the last day of summer school. Woohoo! To make summer school a little more enriching and a little less boring, we decided to divide our time up into three blocks; one for reading, one for math, and one exploratory period. During the exploratory period, we either had a fun hands-on activity or a special guest speaker. Today's speaker was one of our English teachers who also raises 100 goats! To take care of the goats she has 5 guard dogs who are raised with and live with the sheep and three Border Collies that herd the sheep.

(Benny, a 12 week old Border Collie, who replaced his dad, Ben.)

(Tim-Tim, a kid, who I like to call crazy eye!)

(This little guy kept following me around trying to get me to feed him animal crackers until I pawned him off on one of the kids.)
