"My Classroom"

Rich and I took Hailey to school today because I had a few things that I needed to finish up. The entire way there she kept telling us that we were going to "my classroom". She definitely thought that the room was all hers. And, I totally forgot that I have one of her favorite things hanging from the ceiling, a dinosaur! Her eyes got as big as saucers when we walked in the room.

After having lunch and making copies with Uncle Rich, they went to the gym to fly Rich's remote control helicopter. Hay Hay was pumped as she ran down the hallway to the gym. The best thing ever happened when they were playing on Brownsville's playground; a real helicopter landed on the soccer field within yards of them. We think that Pegasus was doing a drill, but it was neat to see the ambulance, fire truck and helicopter working together.

(What a big girl!)

(Taking popsicles to the girls who were working on their Peace by Piece projects with Ms. Shepherd.)

(Hay Hay making friends with the girls.)

(Handing out popsicles. It was HOT in school since they turn the AC off on the weekends.)

(Pegasus about to land on the soccer field.)
