Visit with Jose

Jess and Evan's dad came up from Louisiana for court today; they were finalizing the foster care plan. After the kids' weekly visitation with their mother yesterday, Jose took them out to dinner and to the mall. He also stopped by this afternoon on his way back to Louisiana and we got to talk to him for quite a bit. He seems to be a really nice man with a fascinating job. He used to be a professional polo player and now trains polo horses for Frank Sinatra's brother! I hope that he will continue to stay involved in the kids' lives and call more frequently.
