The 'Burg

My parents celebrated their anniversary last weekend in Harrisonburg, which just happens to be where they met and got married. During their trip, they tried out a new restaurant, Clementine Cafe (check out their great website), that was rated the #1 restaurant in Harrisonburg this year. I hadn't even heard of it before, but much has changed since I last lived there in 2002. The campus is sprawling and, in my opinion, much more visually appealing than other campuses in the area.

Since my parents ate last there last weekend, we've heard over and over again how wonderful their brunch was from taste to presentation. Rich, Hailey and I joined my parents for Sunday brunch today to check out this highly praised food and atmosphere. We were not disappointed. I had an amazing crabcake with thinly sliced potatoes, two poached eggs, and fruit. We will definitely be returning in the near future to check out some of their other dishes. I am also a big fan of their eccletic atmosphere and live music. I'm a little jealous that Rich will be on JMU's campus tomorrow morning for his first day of classes!! Am I too old to become a full-time student as well? Go Dukes!
