Rich and Jerry went back to Carson's house to finish an electrical job last night and ended up finishing at 3:00 AM! They were determined to get it done so they wouldn't have to drive back out there, but it may have cost them more than it was worth. Jerry hit a deer in his truck on the way back and then proceeded to run out of gas on Afton at 4:00 AM. His truck does not need any more damage than it already has!
Meanwhile, I should have been getting some sleep but I kept hearing Hailey cry for a minute or two over the baby monitor. By 2:00 AM I decided I'd better go investigate....I found a miserable ghost white cold clammy baby. When I changed her diaper I knew this was not going to be a good night. A few minutes later she was throwing up in the bathroom and shaking. The poor thing could not get comfortable anywhere I put her. She rolled around on the floor because her tummy hurt so bad. Finally she fell back asleep on the couch with Tank around 5:00, just as Rich and Jerry arrived home.
This morning she was up at 8:00 and ready to eat and drink so I'm guessing she is all better. I, on the other hand, need some sleep and missed my dentist appointment that was at 9:00. I'm sure when I try to reschedule it will be a nightmare because I will be back at school and working twenty jobs. Rich and Jerry are still sleeping soundly, so I just need to decide when to wake them up! It has been a circus trying to get all 5 dogs fed and walked this morning with Hailey running around. Let's hope for a better night tonight! I have to go back to work next Tuesday:(
