More urgent than the update below, is that Bill had two seizures this morning and has been admitted to UVA hospital. Carol had to call 911 and Randy rode with Bill in the rescue squad. Those are the only details that Carol could give us over the phone before she had to go. We are getting ready to pack Hailey up and head to Charlottesville now. I'll post something once I have further details.
Bill had his appointment with the radiologist/oncologist on Thursday. The doctors were not optimistic, but they are going to start radiation next week and continue the treatment for three weeks. Bill is going to be fitted for a helmet that will limit the radiation to the area of the tumors. If the radiation does not shrink or control the tumors, then they may use a beta knife to target the area. We still haven't received all of the details from the appointment because Carol did not want to repeat bad news while Bill was in the same room, but we should get caught up this weekend.
