Spring Break Days 3-4

Our vet visit went better than expected. It did not take 4 people to hold Jack down while drawing his blood this time and we were in and out of there in a little over an hour with four dogs. Thank the lord for 6 months of interest free financing though! Maddie may need to have her large tumors removed soon because they are starting to interfere with her hip movement etc. and the larger they grow (some are more than 9 cm!) the larger cavity they will leave which means more drainage tubes etc. I guess we'll consider this over the summer.

The screened in porch is now cleaned and ready for use this weekend when the weather is going to beautiful not smokin' hot like it was all week. The lawn has been sprayed and is already looking a bit greener and the weeds are wilting, yea!

The Invisible Fence owner came over yesterday morning for an estimate and was really helpful and informative, but it's just too expensive right now. Of course after he plays with the dogs and gets us all excited about how well he thinks the fence it will work he drops the price on us and we have to give him the "we'll get back with you". Agh. I would love to have it installed tomorrow so we can all play outside together!

My MRI was not nearly as bad as the others that I have had in the past. I really, really like the MJH Outpatient Care Center. The technicians were really nice and kept giving me a countdown of how many more scans were needed which eased my anxiety while in that tiny tube. I didn't know that they needed to do some with contrast so half way through the scan they pulled me out and then struggled for 15 minutes to find a vein to use for the contrast. It wasn't a surprise to me that they couldn't find one so I told them to just go for my hand, which they didn't want to do right away. Needless to say, after sticking my arms they ended up going with my hand. They were pretty comical about it and I am used to it so it wasn't too bad. I should hear today hopefully. Actually, I take that back because my neurologist doesn't work on Fridays....guess it'll be Monday.

After the MRI, Mom and I went to Sam's to pick up a few things and then headed home. I was able to pick up Hailey because Julie needed someone to watch her for a few hours, but I offered just to keep her for the weekend. This was a nice surprise!

Meanwhile, Becky brought Mimi over to McDonough to look at cars with Dad since her camry finally died last week. Mimi ended up buying a new one yesterday and we were all able to meet for dinner at Rowe's. It was really nice for us to see everyone and for Hailey to be able to see Mimi and Becky. Of course Hailey had to tell Becky about her boyfriend, Landon! Too funny!

Alright, off to make plans for a fun Friday with Rich and Hay Hay:) Glad to have everyone off for the day!
