I broke out a tank top today and got some more tan lines in this 90 degree weather. I wasn't as productive as yesterday, but that is okay. I managed to spray every single darn dandelion in the yard and I'm going to pray that they turn brown over the next couple of days. There must have been hundreds of them! I am an anti-chemical, fertilizer, pollute the lake kinda girl, but digging these things up the last couple of years just wasn't cutting it.
I also spent forever trying to trim Dixie and Maddie's legs up before their vet visit in the morning. This left me with another job for tomorrow which is going to be cleaning the screened in porch. I hope to get up early enough to spray the front yard with some turf builder, walk the dogs and get in a run before we spend a small fortune at the vet. Thank goodness for CareCredit. I highly recommend applying for credit if you frequent the vet, doctor, or dentist office because depending on the amount of the bill you can get up to a year of interest free financing. We just finished paying off Dixie's last surgery without paying any interest, in time to load the card back up with the visit tomorrow. Lucky for us we get a mulit-dog discount!
In an effort to relieve some stress around this place and shave some time off our my daily routine, I also put a call in to the Invisible Fence people. They are going to come out Thursday to give us an estimate. Something has to give in order for us to be able to spend more time outside with the dogs, with Hailey, and to make it easy for others to help us out with the dogs if we can't make it home in time. We'll see what they say on Thursday! The good news is that they actually train your dogs for you, so maybe we'll have better luck with Dixie this time.
I broke down and agreed to tutor tomorrow night, so tomorrow will be a long day, but it seems like the more I tack on the more I get done.
