Foxy

The last three nights I've taken the dogs out around 9:45 and we've been greeted by a fox in the middle of the front yard! The little guy runs off across the neighbor's driveway and up their walkway. One night it barked at us as it ran off! I'm not quite sure what to think of it, but I'm keeping my distance and tonight I'm going out with the MagLite to try to get a better look at him. I'm not too worried about rabies because he is out at an appropriate time, but why my front yard? I think we have ducks building a nest near the creek or near the neighbor's house so maybe he is staking out the future ducklings? If I'm super stealthy, maybe I'll get a picture to post?!
