Before the snow

I was able to celebrate my birthday Thursday evening by going to dinner with my parents and the rest of the crew. Rich was in class so he missed out on Mi Rancho! I switched it up and had a chicken sandwich rather than my standard chicken enchilada and beans, and it was quite good!

Mom baked some cupcakes and brought them to Mi Rancho for everyone to share. They were my favorite, chocolate:)

Luckily, on Friday everyone was off of work except for Dad, who did end up getting off at lunch time. Rich and I were out and about early. I had an ENT doctor's appointment first thing in the morning, then we went to Target, Walmart and CVS to pick up various prescriptions and diapers for Hailey. The doctor gave me some muscle relaxants for TMJ, which worked last night, but also knocked me out. Not quite sure how I'm supposed to take them three times a day; I'd be asleep for 24 hours!

Anyhow, we were able to meet Mom and Dad for lunch at Cracker Barrel in the middle of the snowstorm. It wasn't too bad considering we were in Rich's truck. I splurged and got a frozen mug sundae which was fabulous! We picked up Hailey after lunch so that we made sure that we had her for all of the snow. All in all it was a nice relaxing birthday. I think we had about 10 inches or so on the ground by the end of the day.

(Yep, just love getting my picture taken.)

(Does he look tired or what?!)
