Dixie is scheduled for surgery next Friday. She is having a tumor on her lower eyelid removed before it scabs and scratches her eye, but is also having four fatty tumors removed from her chest and getting her teeth cleaned. Another huge vet bill will be waiting for us Friday afternoon when we can hopefully pick her up, but what can you do? It's better to go ahead and take care of everything at one time rather than risk future surgeries. We're keeping our fingers crossed that everything goes smoothly. Maddie is still having issues with her foot, so she may get dropped off on the same day to have her leg put in a splint for the next two weeks. My main concern is that we'll spend the money to do it and she'll try to chew it off!
And, a late Happy Birthday to Dixie who turned 8 last week:)
