Prayers...

One of my best friends and fellow 6th grade science teacher, Leslie, had to leave school early on Tuesday because her father who has Alzheimer's disease quickly went downhill. She made it home at midnight and he passed away at 2:00 am.  I am so thankful that she was able to give him one last hug and tell him that she loved him.  It is hard ending the school year without her here especially knowing what she is going through.  I hope that she is able to find some peace in his passing.  There is a tribute to her father posted here on the Alzeheimer's Association page.  Thinking of you, Leslie!
