Last Friday we took our annual field trip to Lake Monacan. It is a wonderful trip, but stressful considering we are responsible for 250 6th graders who are playing in the water. This year I spent some time fishing with Rich since he was subbing. My mom was also able to make it as a sub as well, which was nice! The kids had a great time swimming, biking, fishing, playing volleyball, and running around like crazy adolescents. We had to remove one fish hook from a thumb, deal with sunburn, and some that couldn't swim, but all in all it was a fabulous day! I wish I could post all of my pics so you all could really see the fun that we had, but I can't put the kids pics up.
