"Uh oh"...

That's what Rich said to me on the phone last night as I was driving home from a very long day at work. What followed disturbed me more than the "uh oh". One, he was getting ready to use the restroom while on the phone with me. Gross. Two, the "uh oh" was a result of sitting on the toilet and hearing the seat break. I interpreted this to mean that the screws came loose at the back of the seat, but what I witnessed when I came home was that the seat was truly broken, cracked in half! WTF?! I guess we need to get Rich on a strict diet before the recliner, dining room chairs and other toilet seats break!

It's a good thing that he had already given me really good news before this incident, otherwise I would have given him a much harder time about it. Well, I guess posting it for the world to read is bad enough.

On to the good news, after spending HOURS studying with Diana and some other study groups over the weekend Rich took his final for Anatomy and Physiology yesterday. He needed an 89 to get an A in the class, which is huge because it is a four credit class. The hard work paid off and he smoked both sections, a 96 on the lecture portion and 93 on the lab, which keeps his 4.0 going strong for the third semester in a row! I am very proud of all of his hard work!! He has one more final to go tomorrow and then he'll have a nice long break from the stress of school. I'm very much looking forward to both of us having two weeks off together to get some stuff done around the house and do something fun!
