She walks.....

Happy Birthday Hailey! Our little niece turned ONE today! Right on time for the big day she started walking last week. She is getting in 5-6 steps before taking a seat. She is so controlled that she really does just stop and sit down so that she doesn't land on her face. The amazing thing is that she can go from sitting on the floor, to standing, and then to walking in one swift movement without holding on to anything. I tried to get those first steps on video last weekend, but it was late and she wasn't being very cooperative at the time. I am hoping to get some good footage of her walking at her birthday party this coming Sunday!
