Last weekend we took Hailey to Rachel and Jeff's house for their second annual toddler Christmas party. There were five toddlers, all of them darling, that spent a couple hours playing and opening Christmas gifts. Each child got to pick a present from the gifts that everyone brought. Hailey got a very cute floor puzzle which she enjoyed playing with when we got home. She prefers to try to put the pieces on Jack's head rather than on the floor! It was nice to see Tyler who we haven't seen in a few months. He's growing up quick!

Saturday night Rich and I took Hailey out to look at Christmas lights. We rode around for about an hour with Hay Hay in her PJ's until she finally nodded off. When Mike and I were little Mom and Dad used to take us out in our PJ's to look at lights and we would point and yell "see some" every time we passed a house with Christmas lights.
Sunday we put up a few wreaths and decorated the lamp post. Hailey attempted the trip outside with us, but it was way too COLD. Check out the red nosed eskimo:)
Hailey's newest favorite things to do are 1) to take her books into the kitchen and curl up under the highchair to read and 2) pick out what food she would like from the pantry. She could spend hours pulling all of her food off the bottom shelf and then put each jar back where it is supposed to go. She did try to pull a fast one on Mike by bringing him a can of Coke to open...even had it tipped upside down to her mouth! We know she didn't learn about soda at this house!
Here's a shot of poor Maddie's eye. I couldn't get a good one because I didn't want to blind her with the flash in her good eye!
