Yep, neither of those words come with a positive connotation. Rich and Jerry did the roof at Bill's rental property this past weekend. It literally took them the ENTIRE weekend to do it. They started Friday night and it still was not totally complete Monday evening. Roofing is one job that I could not do, ever! They got back to our house after 11:00 each night and were back at it at 7:00 am. Rich has chigger bites all over his ankles, is sunburned, and generally looks like crap from being so worn out:) The good thing is that the job is over.
Now, to the roommate situation.... Leslie and Jerry's relationship is now over, so where do you go if you don't have a car, a place to live, or a job and you have a howling Husky? If you remember the post Jackal Schmackal and Looney Tunes, you are aware that we've had these house guests in the past. The real issue here is the dog. Luna is a great dog, but she and Jack do nothing other than chase each other around the house and make a mess. So, this time she is staying in her crate in the basement. However, this means she's in the crate much of the day and all night. As I type, I'm being serenaded with howls from the basement. Rich is off with Jerry trying to get him a cell phone hooked up and a social security card, which was lost. Hopefully the next step is a job, a car, and an apartment!
Does anyone have a room that I can rent???
