On a positive note "Mr. Stokes" debuted his first day on the job as substitute teacher. He filled in for my counterpart, Leslie, the other sixth grade science teacher. Rich enjoyed the science classes, but was not too keen on the seventh grade creative writing class. Seventh and eighth graders really are totally different creatures than sixth graders. From all accounts the day went very smoothly and the kids loved the motorcycle driving, bodybuilding, comedian of a substitute! He is already booked for Monday's PE classes. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that he behaves himself and doesn't get fired for showing off bodybuilding poses!

"Mr. Stokes"...
After two years of cable work Rich is no longer our resident "cable guy". We are taking the change in stride and hoping that it is a sign (one we just haven't figured out yet). Yes, we are stressed, but that seems to be the going trend these days.
