October = Snow Day?

For the first time in years we had an October snow!  For someone who loves snow, this was a treat for me.  It doesn't even matter that we didn't get a day off of school, well maybe it does a little.  It was rather bizzare to see snow covered pumpkins and trees still covered in leaves underneath a blanket of snow.   I didn't venture too far outside to take pictures, but did get a few shots from the porch.

What do you do when it is freezing and snowy outside?  Cuddle up and watch some television with all of the pups of course....
