Snow Day!

FINALLY, we got a real snow day! It was so nice to have the day off, but even better to actually have some snow to play in. The dogs loved romping around in the 6 inches or so that we got. Dixie got her IV out from earlier in the week when she had pancreatitis, so she was able to get a little time to play in the snow without a plastic bag on her leg. Jack was in his element and did not want to come in. He actually buried his face in the snow, laid down, and wouldn't get up.
Hailey was here to experience her first real time in the snow. We ran out and got some snow boots to match her snow pants and coat that Grandma and Grandaddy Stokes bought her. I think we all had more fun that she did though. It was difficult for her to walk so she wanted to be held most of the time. However, when Uncle Rich got the sled out and pushed us down the hill she started to enjoy herself. I, on the other hand, was a little scared of the speed that we got going on the first trip down! All in all it was a great day off for everyone. I wouldn't mind getting in one more good snow before spring, but it looks like we will have temps in the 70's this weekend!
