Talent Show

Jessica participated in her school's talent show a couple of weeks ago.  It doesn't get much better than a bunch of adolescents living out their dreams on stage.  There were plenty of squeaky voices and akward moves, but very entertaining to say the least.  The best moment was when a 6th grader sang, "Before he Cheats."  I never before thought of this song as being inappropriate until I heard said student sing:

"Right now he's probably slow dancing
With a bleached-blond tramp
And she's probably getting frisky
Right now, he's probably buying
Her some fruity little drink
'Cause she can't shoot whiskey"

Rich and I had to cover our mouths because we completely lost it.  I had tears streaming down my face from laughing so hard.  This girl was gettin' down like she was Carrie Underwood.

Seriously though, there were some talented singers, pianists, and even a dramatic enterpretation.  Jessica did a great job singing in her doo-wop group.  They sang and danced to "Still of the Night."  Jessica will be performing at Bridgewater College with the District choir in a few weeks.
Jessica is in purple.
