Carol Update

Some of you already know this, but Carol slipped and fell a couple of weeks ago when she was taking Norman to the vet. She broke her wrist during the fall and had surgery last week to correct it. Don't worry, I promptly reminded her not to use the doctor who screwed up, no pun intended, my first wrist surgery. She has a plate and several screws now. I haven't seen the x-rays yet, but I'm sure the finished work looks much like my wrist did at one point. We are thankful that so far she seems to be on the mend and that she is planning on keeping her trip to Puerto Rico with Randy and Jo on the books in February. She also just happens to have a birthday coming up next week, so we are going out to dinner on Saturday to celebrate.
