I didn't think that I liked the idea of posting all of this info. on Facebook, but I have enjoyed reading other notes....so here they are if you didn't already read them on Facebook:
1. I have never been able to work in a messy environment. My desk always has to be clean to get any work done.
2. I hate dirty baseboards...especially ones in the bathroom. Yes, I'm checking them out when I come to your house:)
3. My favorite color changes pretty much every year.
4. Pajama pants are my favorite piece of clothing. I would wear them to work if I could!
5. Or, maybe SmartWool socks are...my feet are never happy unless I have socks on, and now they freeze or sweat if I don't wear SmartWool.
6. If someone ever breaks into my house, I'm ready with my MagLite to blind them and then knock them out. Ask Rich is you think I'm kidding, he's seen the "routine".
7. Speaking of routines, I do the same one every morning. It includes eating the same flax and oats oatmeal and hot green tea EVERY morning. I've done this for at least a year now and still crave it at 6 am.
8. I'm inspired by Oxygen magazine each month and hope to enter a fitness/figure competition at least once in my lifetime. Shouldn't be hard with a husband who is a bodybuilder.
9. Sleeping is not my thing. I've never been able to stay asleep more than a couple hours at a time. Just ask Megs who had to sleep on the floor and get pelted by stuffed animals during middle school sleepovers OR my husband who gets smacked in his CPAP machine nightly.
10. My dream job would be running a non-profit animal shelter for all the lonely and abused pups out there!
11. Rich does most of the cooking (thank goodness!), but I could bake all day and be happy.
12. Everything under my bathroom cabinets is organized into plastic containers with printed labels...along with all of the office supplies, and all of my files are color coded. A bit OCD, I know.
13. I wish I still played a competitive sport. There's nothing like those few moments before the start of a soccer game or the feeling of making a great play.
14. I never dreamed of a fancy wedding or honeymoon, but always dreamed of being a mother.
15. Most people enjoy relaxing on the beach, but I would much prefer to be under the water diving with the turtles. Nothing compares to the relaxation of hearing your own breath slow down while witnessing nature at its best. (Kind of like being the first one to plop down in the snow.)
16. I might possibly love taking classes more than I love teaching them. A return to JMU's Kinesiology department will happen before I get too much older.
17. I hated red sauce as a child and refused to eat pizza at all of my childhood parties. My friends' parents would have to fix me hotdogs or something else because I was so picky.
18. I could never ever live in a big city...even Charlottesville stresses me out. Waynesboro is the perfect speed for me.
19. Fishing is one of the most relaxing things I can do (there aren't many times that I am relaxed). I could fish all day all by myself and really not think about anything else in the world.
20. My day pretty much revolves around food. I eat every 2 hours or get a pounding headache and become a grump.
21. I don't own very many accessories and don't care to think about changing them up when I am getting ready in the morning. Give me jeans and a t-shirt and I'm good to go.
22. I get mistaken for being a student several times a year at school and take that as a compliment.
23. For years I was so shy that I couldn't even talk to friends on the phone because they couldn't hear me! That changed in high school when I learned how to "YeeeeHaaaww" with the best of them!
24. If I had a dollar for everytime my husband has said "if your students could see you now", I'd be a rich woman. I'm quite a goof ball behind closed doors.
25. My favorite drink is sweet tea, favorite pie is pumpkin, and favorite ice cream is a chocolate shake.
