Alright, I think I finally have a few pics to upload from Rich's graduation. Unfortunately, Evan was not able to attend because he was taking SATs the same morning. My parents, Carol, Angela, Rob and Trenton all made the trip to Harrisonburg though. The morning started off quite warm and sunny, but quickly turned gray and rainy during the large commencement ceremony in the stadium. I knew I should have taken pictures before the ceremony! The lighting inside Godwin, which was where Rich's individual ceremony was held, was terrible. Oh well!

After the ceremony we ate at Mi Rancho on our way home since it was also Cinco de Mayo! Once we got home we had a couple of hours before our guests arrived to celebrate. Although it was a lot of work to prepare food, clean, etc. the day before (i took a day of off school), it was worth it to do everything the same day as graduation. We were a little disappointed that it rained on and off because we couldn't really enjoy the yard. However, the guys made it out between storms and got in some fishing.
The last few years have been rough. Lots of hours working for me, lots of time studying for Rich, and plenty of stress to go around. It was all well worth it once he walked across the stage! I couldn't be more proud!

Love that I was still gross from the rain.
I totally forgot to take any pictures once the guests arrived, but my dad took a few pictures when they were at the lake. I think we had the perfect number of guests because we were still able to spend time with everyone and not be too overwhelmed.
